Our Butchery

In balance with nature

In balance with nature

Food with a story - high in welfare, low in impact, and full of flavour. Our pasture-fed wild meat is born of healthy soil, diverse habitats, and strong principles.

Slow-grow by nature

Raised on our 3,500-acre rewilding project, our free-roaming herds of cattle, pigs and deer help shape one of the UK’s biggest biodiversity hotspots. Eating a natural, herb-rich diet and living freely as nature intended, they produce wild meat that’s healthier, richer in flavour, and better for the planet.

Designed for convenience, our wild, organic meat boxes bring together the best of our Wild Range and trusted partners. From midweek staples to celebratory roasts, each box is packed with nutrient-rich, regeneratively produced meat – ready to inspire your next meal.

From slow-grown Old English Longhorns grazing freely on herb-rich pastures, our beef is marbled, nutrient-dense and deeply flavourful. Matured for at least 28 days on the bone, it’s beef as it used to be – and better than you remember.

Our venison comes from free-roaming herds of Red and Fallow deer, a vital part of the rewilding process. Lean, richly flavoured and high in omega-3s, our venison is wild meat at its most natural – and most delicious.

Tamworth pigs raised on wild forage and autumn acorns produce pork that’s darker, richer and more intensely flavoured than anything you’ll find in a supermarket. Slow-grown and free to roam, this is pork with real character.

Our charcuterie is made in small batches in-house using ethical, sustainable beef from our rewilding project and pork from like-minded producers who really care about the planet, people and animals.

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
