Stay year-round at our new Bothy

The Peregrine Tree House is the newest in our range, is built around a mature oak in a secluded corner of our ancient woodland, a short walk through the woods from the main campsite. Made out of local, sustainably sourced oak, chestnut and Douglas fir, with shingle walls and shingle-tiled roof, it is an engineering delight.

An easy flight of steps takes you up to the platform, four metres above ground, to a spacious platform with a glass-fronted cabin offering wonderful views of the woodland and rewilding project around you. Complete with wood-burning stove, handcrafted king-size bed and all the luxurious features of our other accommodation the Peregrine Tree House boasts the additional feature of an open-air, wood-fired Swedish Hikki bath-tub on a separate platform reached by a wooden walkway.

Perfect for restoring tired limbs after long walks and the ultimate way to relax into your natural surroundings.

Lighting is provided by battery reading lights, travelling battery hurricane lamps, and candle lanterns.

At ground level, you also have your own fire-pit with barbeque grill, table and chairs.
